Who are we?

We are a Mexican civil association with international presence, established to promote educational projects in the most vulnerable indigenous and rural communities, bringing Mexican heart and aid to the regions that need it most in our country and worldwide, to achieve root change.

What do we base our work on?
Sustainable Development Goals
At Corazón Raíz, we develop projects prioritizing actions that contribute to the implementation of the SDGs in Mexico and Uganda, considering the specific contexts of the communities or villages we collaborate with.
As an organization, SDG 4 is at the heart of our programs and projects, which, being directed at children, youth, and adults, also contribute directly to SDGs 1, 5, 8, and 10.

Educational Infrastructure for Nahua Communities in Zongolica
Collaboration with municipal and community authorities to bring educational infrastructure to 4 Nahua communities in Zongolica, Veracruz.
Seed Women
Employment training for Nahua indigenous women to contribute to women's economic empowerment in Zongolica, Veracruz.
Technological Education for Nahua Communities
Mobile virtual classrooms that will provide basic computer training for children, teachers, and adults in Mixtla de Altamirano, Veracruz.
Training for Teachers in Mixtla de Altamirano
Training forum for teachers with an expert in neuroeducation and socio-emotional development for the proper implementation of the new educational model in Mixtla de Altamirano and other nearby municipalities.
Deslibe Charity Organization
Preschool and primary school located in Kimanto, Uganda, providing free, quality education to children in the village.
Gayela Children Foundation
A home located in Jinja, Uganda, providing a home, education, and medical care to children.
