Collaboration with municipal and community authorities to bring educational infrastructure to 4 Nahua communities in Zongolica, Veracruz.

What is the project about?

We form alliances with local and community authorities to bring educational infrastructure to Nahua indigenous communities in Zongolica, Veracruz, always addressing the most pressing educational needs.

We build and renovate spaces where we also integrate modular furniture, a learning corner with books and games to support their education, and training for the teacher or educator in charge to enhance their knowledge on how to use the provided reading corners effectively.

Investing in the education of the most vulnerable communities is crucial for their development and for reducing inequalities.

Impact

We will benefit 1,100 inhabitants of the communities served and over 60 students.

Challenge

Lack of infrastructure or poor and damaged infrastructure.
Lack of training for CONAFE community educators and teachers.
Lack of support materials for students and teachers.

Achievements

On March 23, 2024, the first inauguration took place for one of the three basic education schools to be renovated. Through our collaborative model, the community provided the land and labor, the foundation financed all the materials, and the local government contributed personnel and technical and operational resources, successfully completing this important project through the collective effort of all.
