Sustainable Development Goals
At Corazón Raíz, we develop projects that contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Mexico and Uganda, taking into account the specific contexts of the communities where we work.
SDG 4—Quality Education—is at the center of our programs and projects. Because our work serves children, young people, and adults, it also contributes directly to SDGs 1, 5, 8, and 10.

Our projects
Educational Infrastructure for Indigenous and Rural Communities
We support the construction and improvement of safe, well-equipped learning spaces by bringing together communities, local government partners, and other allies.
Mujeres Semilla (Seed Women)
We support Indigenous and rural women in strengthening their personal and economic opportunities through employment training, socioemotional development, and financial education.
Aulas Virtuales Itinerantes (Mobile Technology Classrooms)
We bring technology education directly to Indigenous and rural communities to help reduce the digital divide and expand educational and employment opportunities.
Teacher Training
We strengthen the skills and knowledge of teachers working in Indigenous and rural communities, contributing to stronger educational experiences for their students.
Deslibe Charity Organization
A preschool and primary school in Kimanto, Uganda, providing free education to children in the community.
How Can I Help?
Become a Virtual or On-Site Volunteer
Through our volunteer program, you can work with people from different backgrounds and contribute to community-led educational initiatives. Volunteers support our work to strengthen and expand educational projects that respond to the priorities of the communities where they operate.
