Through our volunteer program, you can work with people from different backgrounds and contribute to educational projects developed alongside communities. Volunteers support specific active projects with defined responsibilities and objectives, helping strengthen initiatives according to the needs identified by the community and project team.
An open mind, a willingness to contribute, and a positive attitude are essential. Volunteers are also expected to show respect for the culture, country, and people who are part of the project.
Volunteers accepted into our program will have clearly defined responsibilities and objectives to support one of our active projects.
The length of each volunteer placement depends on the project you apply to. Details about the expected duration can be discussed directly with Corazón Raíz.
Corazón Raíz covers food and lodging expenses for on-site volunteers. Volunteers are responsible for their own transportation costs to and from their assigned project, including airfare and ground transportation.
