We support the construction and improvement of safe, well-equipped learning spaces by bringing together communities, local government partners, and other allies.
We work alongside communities, local government partners, and other allies to identify and address priority educational infrastructure needs in Indigenous and rural communities.
Through a collaborative model, we support the construction, rehabilitation, and equipping of spaces where children and young people can learn in safer, better-equipped environments. Each intervention responds to the specific needs identified by the community and may include classrooms, restrooms, computer spaces, or other essential infrastructure that strengthens the educational environment.
Our goal is to continue bringing additional schools and communities into the program while building partnerships that allow its reach to grow over time.

More than 188 students and 8,200 community members have benefited from educational infrastructure and improved learning spaces and opportunities.
Our impact continues to grow as new schools and communities join the program.
On March 23, 2024, we opened our first educational space built through this collaborative model. The community contributed the land and labor. Corazón Raíz financed the materials, while the municipal government contributed personnel and technical and operational resources.
On February 21, 2026, we delivered a new primary school built through collaboration among the community, local government partners, and Corazón Raíz, giving students a safe, well-equipped space for learning.
We are currently working on the construction of improved restrooms for the community’s preschool, addressing an essential need for a safer and more supportive educational environment.
In 2026, we added a new equipped computer space to strengthen students’ access to technology and opportunities to develop digital skills.
